Jmchaps est un artiste travaillant dans le domaine de la peinture .

Son travail mêle l’ abstraction et le figuratif qui se complètent.

Ce que j’aime le plus lorsque je peins, c’est la recherche de l’harmonie et l’équilibre des couleurs, la texture et les mélanges qu’elles génèrent entre elles par l’énergie du geste et sa spontanéité. C’est créer ainsi l’abstrait qui reste le socle de mes tableaux, suivi par le figuratif pour l’expressivité.

Mon inspiration vient de rencontres visuelles qui déclenchent une envie de les interpréter à ma façon.

En premier je commence par la conception du support, une feuille d’acier fine que je fixe sur un cadre bois, ensuite viennent le mélange des peintures acryliques pour le fond puis la partie figurative et enfin je finis par une couche de résine époxy pour la brillance.

His work mixes abstraction and the figurative which complement each other.

What I like the most when I paint is the search for harmony and the balance of colors, the texture and the mixtures that they generate between them by the energy of the gesture and its spontaneity. It is thus creating the abstract which remains the base of my paintings, followed by the figurative for the expressiveness.

My inspiration comes from visual encounters that trigger a desire to interpret them in my own way.

First I start with the design of the support, a thin steel sheet that I fix on a wooden frame, then come the mixture of acrylic paints for the background then the figurative part and finally I finish with a layer of epoxy resin for the shine.
